Lately, I have been producing many blank NoteCards of requested images pictured within my website. Cards are available with 3.5x5" or 4x6" archival ink photographs... with envelopes. The Liddell Images watermark will not be printed on any photograph. Your satisfaction is Guaranteed.

Chihuly Glass Exhibit : Dale Chihuly's "The Nature of Glass" exhibit at Desert Botanical Gardens, Phoenix, AZ The FIRST section is photographed in natural light during the day... whereas the SECOND section is photographed at night with the Gardens own lighting. Dale Chihuly has been influential within the Studio Glass movement and continues to revolutionize the art of handblown glass. Working in a generally free-form and unorthodox manner, the results of his approach ilicit widespread admiration from the full spectrum of viewers, with one art historian calling his work "liquid light." Chihuly's work is included in more than 200 museum collections worldwide.

Native American Hoop Dancers : The 23rd Annual World Championship Indian Hoop Dance Contest was held recently at the Heard Museum, Phoenix, AZ. The program included tribal dancers in various age groups from Tiny Tots to Seniors. Many participants came from Canada as well as various states, including Hawaii, New York, Utah, New Mexico, North Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan and Arizona. The tradition of dancing with a hoop has an extensive history among Native people. The hoop or circle is symbolic of all Native people. It represents the Circle of Life and the continuous cycle of summer and winter, day and night , male and female. Some Native people use hoop dancing as part of a healing ceremony designed to restore balance and harmony in the world...which is not performed publicly. In these performances, dancers incorporated speed and agility as they manipulate their bodies through one to more than 50 hoops. Some dancers also incorporate creative designs, animal or bird shapes and difficult manipulations of the hoops to present unique variations of the dance. They dance to a multiple drum beat for five to seven minutes. Most dancers also have bells attached to their lower legs to enhance the beat of the drums.

Country Music Artists : A few Stars and Legends that I photographed at various Country Music Events. Of all the types of photography ever invented, I would claim that Live Concert Photography is up there among the most difficult ones. You have thousands of Fans behind you, and there is a Band and main Singer in front of you. Nobody stands still. In fact, even the notion of standing still ruins the idea of a good concert photograph. The Bouncers and Security guys hate you, because you are in their way. The Crowd is jealous of you. The Band thinks you’re annoying. The lighting is never bright enough, and changes so frequently that you’re screwed even in the few moments that it is. Promoters say you can only shoot the first three songs..... And nonetheless, Concert Photography is one of my all-time favorite shooting experiences. It’s hard, but rewarding..... and...deeply gratifying on a personal level. It’s about Capturing the mood, Capturing the action, Capturing the expressions. Capturing something the audience is feeling. I LOVE IT...

Favorite Rockers : BTW, A personal note....Of all the types of photography ever invented, I would claim that Live Concert Photography is up there among the most difficult ones. You have thousands of Fans behind you hootin', hollering and jumping around. There is the Band and main Singer in front of you. Nobody stands still. In fact, even the notion of Rockers standing still ruins the idea of a good concert photograph. The Bouncers and Security guys hate you, because you are in their way. The Crowd is jealous of you. The Band thinks you’re annoying. The Lighting is never bright enough, and changes so frequently that you’re screwed even in the few moments that it is. You continue to push your cameras limits. The Promoters say you can only shoot the first three songs..... so you had better get it right... And nonetheless, Concert Photography is one of my all-time favorite shooting experiences. It’s hard, but rewarding..... and...deeply gratifying on a personal level. It’s about Capturing the mood, Capturing the action, Capturing the expressions. Capturing something the audience is feeling.
